Are there sufficient teaching rooms at KIT?
Yes. Based on the "Agreement on the Introduction of Regulations for Efficient Space Management at Universities in Baden-Württemberg," an annual utilization survey of centrally and decentrally managed lecture halls and seminar rooms is conducted in the first weeks of the winter semester. The findings (to follow shortly) enable more efficient use of space and are also incorporated into the construction development planning of the Real Estate Management service unit.
Can anyone rent a room?
A condition for renting rooms for an event is that the event does not conflict with the interests of KIT. Who may use the rooms of KIT and under which conditions is regulated in the "Regulations on the Use of Rooms and Properties of the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT)" (in German).
